Death in Custody Reporting Act – Implementation Campaign | 2022-2025

• One of three principal authors on A Matter of Life and Death: The Importance of the Death in Custody Reporting Act

• Ongoing engagement with DOJ, NCJA, advocates, and lawmakers and their staff to improve implementation

Accountable Now | 2021 & 2022 

•Stewarded Phase II launch and oversaw expansion of Accountable Now Data Explorer from 5 cities to 40 cities

•Project is currently mid-transition and will be housed in the future with a research organization

MKE Urban Stables | 2019

• Convened Milwaukee youth and police officers to design a new youth-police engagement program

•  Facilitated the co-creation process between young people and law enforcement officers

Community Oriented Policing (COP) House Playbook | 2019

• Researched across 4 communities in 2 states and produced a report on how to effectively implement a COP House

• Collaborated with congressional representatives on drafting federal legislation to fund COP House pilot projects

Racine School Resources Officer Re-Structure - Harm Reduction | 2016-2018

• Consulted with the Racine Police Department and School District to audit the School Resource Officer (SRO) program

• Researched and recommended solutions resulting in a 43% decrease in the number of citations and arrests of students
